Prior to joining as a PhD student, Bianca completed an H.B.Sc. in Biology. Her current focus is on the impact of priority effects and quorum sensing on microbial community colonization to improve biogas production using anaerobic digestion, in a project co-supervised by Prof. Chris Lawson. When not wearing a lab coat, they enjoy painting, baking and gardening!
