Shilo Chislett

MEng Student | She/her

Originally from Nunavut/Newfoundland, I earned an H.B.Sc. in Microbiology and Immunology, along with a Certificate in Sustainability at UofT. I’m now pursuing an MEng in Chemical Engineering, where my research focuses on how quorum sensing signals in marine bacterial isolates influences chitin degradation within marine snow. I’m passionate about microbiology, human health, and environmental systems, and I’m excited to implement chemical engineering principles into my academic background.
Outside the lab, I love softball (Go Blues!), sci- fi books/movies, and matcha.
